Refund & Cancellation Policy
You should never feel locked in. Here is exactly how trials, cancellations and refunds work — in plain language.

1. Overview
This policy applies to all paid Lumifit subscriptions purchased on lumifit.in and forms part of our Terms of Service. Lumifit is a business-to-business subscription service for gyms; all amounts are in Indian Rupees and exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
2. Free trial — try before you pay anything
- Every new gym gets a 14-day free trial with no payment card required.
- Because no card is collected, the trial can never convert into a surprise charge. If you do nothing, your account simply becomes read-only at the end of the trial.
- Your data is retained for 30 days after a trial ends, so you can subscribe later and pick up where you left off.
3. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time from your gym dashboard, or by emailing contact@lumifit.in from your registered email address.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual). You keep full access until then.
- No cancellation fees, no exit penalties, no retention dark patterns — cancelling takes effect with one confirmation.
- After cancellation, you have 30 days to export your data (member records, attendance logs, workout history) before it is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy. In Trust Mode, your Google Sheet always remains yours.
4. Refunds on monthly plans
- First payment guarantee: if Lumifit isn't right for your gym, email us within 7 days of your first paid charge and we will refund it in full — no questions, no forms.
- After the first 7 days, monthly fees for a billing period that has already started are non-refundable; cancellation stops the next charge instead.
- We do not provide prorated refunds for unused days in a monthly cycle.
5. Refunds on annual plans
- Annual payments (including renewals) are refundable in full within 14 days of the charge date.
- After 14 days, you may still cancel; access continues until the end of the paid year, but the remaining months are not refunded.
- Before every annual renewal, we send a reminder email at least 7 days in advance so a renewal is never a surprise.
6. Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect immediately; you are charged only the prorated difference for the remainder of the current period.
- Downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle. We do not refund the difference mid-cycle, but you keep the higher plan's features until the cycle ends.
7. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you are ever billed twice, billed after cancelling, or billed the wrong amount, contact us with the transaction reference and we will refund the erroneous charge in full — these refunds are always honoured regardless of the timelines above.
8. Service-failure refunds
If we terminate your account without cause, or a verified extended outage on our side prevents you from using the platform for a material part of a billing period, we will refund the unused portion of your subscription on a prorated basis.
9. How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- We initiate refunds within 3 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card network, the amount typically reflects in your account within 5–10 business days.
- Where a payment included GST, the refund includes the corresponding GST amount and a credit note is issued for your records.
10. How to request a refund
Email contact@lumifit.in from your registered email with your gym name and the transaction date or invoice number. We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and resolve them within 7.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify gym owners by email and update the date at the top of this page. Changes never reduce the refund rights attached to a payment you have already made.
